AI Search — Find Anything in Your Saves
What Is AI Search?
Curv Link includes a built-in AI search engine (RAG — Retrieval-Augmented Generation) that understands the meaning of your question, not just the exact words. Ask a natural question and it finds the most relevant saved links, images, and videos from your cylinder.
How It Works
- Tap the AI search icon (spark/star) in the toolbar to open the AI chat.
- Type a question in plain language — for example, "articles about productivity" or "photo of the receipt from last month".
- The AI analyses the content of your saved items and returns the most relevant matches, with a short explanation of why each result fits.
- Tap a result to jump directly to that item on the cylinder.
What It Can Search
- Saved links — titles, URLs, and any notes you added.
- Images — AI reads the visual content (scenes, objects, text in photos) so you can search by description.
- Videos — thumbnails and file names are indexed.
- Handwritten notes (photos) — the AI flags and reads handwriting in images.
Privacy
Analysis runs locally or through the Gemini API using a key you provide. Your saved data is never uploaded to Curv Link servers for search purposes.
Tip: After adding new links or media, the search index updates automatically. You can also trigger a manual rebuild from AI settings.
