Image & Video Preview on the Cylinder

Saving Images and Videos

Curv Link is not just a link manager — you can save images, videos, PDFs, Markdown, and other files to the cylinder. They appear as cards alongside your regular link icons.

How to Save Media

Drag and drop an image or video file onto the Curv Link screen.
Add dialog — Click the ＋ icon and use the File tab.
Data tab — Use Settings → Data → Add Local File.

Previewing Media

Click an image or video card to open a preview inside Curv Link. Use ← / → to move between items and Esc to close. YouTube and Spotify links play inside Curv Link without leaving the page.

Media Mode

Press the Media button in the top-right corner to switch the cylinder to Media mode. Your saved items appear as large preview cards, and web pages are shown with page thumbnails, making it easy to scan a visual collection. Adjust its layout in the Preview pane of Display Settings.

Organizing Media

Media items live inside the same folder structure as links. Create a dedicated folder (e.g. "Screenshots", "Reference images") to keep your visual saves separate.

Tip: Files you add are stored in this browser (IndexedDB) and are not sent to Curv Link's servers. They are not included in the JSON backup, so keep the originals. Page thumbnails for web links are fetched from thum.io or Microlink through Curv Link's image relay; see the privacy policy on the Support page.
